I have owned Chaco Z/2 sandals since 2000. I love the support, the durability, the webbing. I need arch support and it's perfect. My last pair finally became too worn down on the side of the heels making for an uneven surface for me to walk on and bad for my ankles. It took 10 years to reach this p... Read More

My last pair of Chaco Sandals lasted over ten years before the bottom started falling off. This new pair looks great. The color is nice and it was easier to adjust the straps than I had remembered. These shoes are great to wear when walking long distances.

My husband ordered these for me because he bought this brand for himself and thought they were very comfortable. However, they were Not exactly my style. Straps were too wide and heavy. Didn't like the purple soles on the shoes or the toe ring. Exchanging them for a different pair without the toe ring and with narrow double straps. They have not arrived yet, but I am looking forward to them as the footbed on the ones I returned felt very comfortable.

I love chacos. My first pair (gecko's) lasted more than a decade. These are comfortable, supportive and super cute.

I've only had one for about a month and have worn them in water, rough roads, and while hiking. Seriously the most durable and comfortable shoes ever. The toe strap is one to get used to, and you have to constantly adjust it in the beginning of wearing these but after that it's smooth sailing.

  • “This shoe isn't available in my size (size 9) and this depresses me. ”

    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, some sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. • I typically wear an 8 1/2 woman's shoe. Chaco sandals size 8 fit me perfectly. However the Chaco hiking boots I have are a 9. Hope that is helpful.

  • “What do the shoes look like on? Looking at pictures of other patterns I think they look better on feet than the display photo. What does the color look like against lightly tanned skin? Thanks!”
Asked by Allison from Texas on 5/8/2017 11:53:56 PM
    • I think they are a pretty orange and they look great on my slightly tanned feet. Prettier than display photo.
These are more comfortable than others I have owned.

    • I think they look great on other people's feet and seem to look good on mine from above. I really prefer the ones without the big toe "wrap", but these are amazingly comfortable when I wear them after I got them adjusted with a few times walking in them. The straps do pull through the holes so that they can be adjusted, thank goodness! I have no tan now and like the looks. When you go barefoot after getting tanned, it looks kind of funny, but then most sandals do.

    • Allison, This shoe looks nice on my feet, longish & medium/narrow width. I like the color of the straps as well (pink & brown weave). I live in Arizona, and even though I don't have a real tan, my feet are exposed to the sun a good part of the year. But, having said that, can't tell you if you would be happy with the color. I am, but you may not be. This is a personal decision.

  • “Are the straps on the quilted cadet pair purple or pink?”
Asked by smileyam from smileyam on 4/12/2017 3:47:44 PM
    • The lighter part of the woven pattern are thin threads alternating purple and light pink which give a pinkish-lavender impression. The larger diamond shapes of the woven pattern are a kind of purplish-brown, matching the color of the sole and buckle. The straps which attach the woven straps to the sandal and go through half of the buckle apparatus are definitely dark purple. Hope that helps.

  • “Do these sandals run small or big? I have been buying Chacos for my youngest daughter for years because she needs the arch support... and we have sometimes found that they run small. She is only 10, but we have had to purchase up to size 10 shoes for her! I am wondering if the women's 11 will fit her.”
Asked by Seasoned Chaco customer from MI on 3/12/2017 7:12:01 PM
    • I would say that they run pretty true to size. If I remember correctly there is a printable sizing tool, which I used. I have a size 9. When I first got them, they bound tightly across the big toe joint, so I ordered a 10. I figured out that the problem was that I wasn't adjusting the one-piece strap correctly. I ended up returning the 10 and keeping the size 9. I think a size 9.5 would be ideal for me, but they only run whole sizes. I wear a size 9 in running shoes, but some of my dress shoes are 10's. I hope this helps.

    • According to our fit team this item is running true to size. If you wear a half size we recommend half sizes order up.

Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
