I'm a huge fan of Chaco sandals. The adjustment on these couldn't be simpler and once dialed in they fit perfectly. The easy release strap makes getting them on / off a breeze while keeping the sandal very secure. The Chaco's keep your feet secure from beach to boat to mountain. I'll be wearing thes... Read More

These are great looking shoes but had to return them. Purchased them as a gift for a family member and his feet are wide so he could not get into the shoes. Great quality.

I have just purchased my first pair 0f Chacos after hearing from people how great they are. My initial impressions of these are they feel great and look like they will last for years. Looking forward to the better weather so I can put them on and go hiking!

These are sturdy, durable, comfortable sandals. I find the footbed superior to any other I've tried, with just the right arch in just the right spot. When weather allows these are my most favorite footwear.

I'm forty-four years old and have owned all brands of sandals. Merrell, Keen, Teva, Birkenstock, Eddie Bauer, Bass, the list goes on and on. These Chacos are HANDS DOWN the most comfortable pair I've ever owned! I broke them out of the box, read the underside of the box lid instructions, dialed them in and took our red bone coon hound, Baer out on a five mile hike. I bought two different colors on clearance and went back online to buy the three other colors after they arrived and I tested them. Unfortunately, my size was already gone. Get these babies while you can! Strongly recommended.

  • “is there anyway you guys have these in size 7 for women?”
Asked by sally tom from kansas on 10/3/2016 1:45:54 PM
    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. • “I wear a UK 6 Size shoes, will the Size 8 Chaco sandal fit me?”
Asked by Saran from Doha on 6/25/2016 6:16:05 AM
    • According to Chaco's size chart a UK 6 is equivalent to a US 8.

  • “When I tighten my sandal, there's a little too much strap trailing behind my feet. Should I trim the strap a bit, or is there some other way to keep the strap in line? ”
Asked by A Naturalist from San Angelo, TX on 6/11/2016 10:49:48 PM
    • I had this same problem and finally snipped them. After I made the cut, I singed the edges to prevent fraying. It's worked great for me so far.

    • trimming it voids the warranty. The longer i have worn them i find i like them a little loose any way. If i keep them tight and the stap drags the ground i just tie it in a knot to shorten it.

  • “I'm trying to decide between the z/1 and z/2 models, and basically, to toe loop or not to toe loop, that is the question. ”
Asked by Ebars from NH on 6/5/2016 4:20:20 AM
    • Toe loop all the way. It greatly increases stability and takes the
Chaco from casual wear to functionally adept at light hiking, water sports, etc. The Z/2 is my favorite summer footwear.
Answered on 6/5/2016 10:13:56 AM by Ed from Wilmington, NC
    • I struggled with this as well when I was deciding on my first pair. I decided to go with the toe loop and am happy that I did. I like the added stability you get for when you're on rough terrain or running in them. The other benefit is that you can simply not use the toe strap if you don't want to. You can simply put your toe on top of that strap rather than putting it inside the loop, and you basically have a pair of z/1 chacos.

Summary: I recommend z/2 because you get more stability when you want the strap. When you don't want it, simply put your toe on top rather than in the strap.
Answered on 6/6/2016 7:21:08 AM by Matt W from Tennessee
    • The toe loop prevents your foot from slipping forward out of the sandal. I have owned three pair of these with toe loops. I choose that because that is what I intend top do do with these sandals. Boating, hiking, wading running, etc. If you intend to wear around around the house, grocery store trips or around the pool, the no-toe loop would be more comfortable.

For what it's worth, my wife hate the toe loop however, if she is canoeing, kayaking etc, she will wear my sandals for the support and stability.

    • Toe loop is nice especially for hiking, concerts, anything where you dont want a lot of slipping.
Answered on 6/6/2016 11:01:20 AM by Ginger man 5000 from indiana
    • The toe loop does tend to tighten down over time and you have to readjust the straps, but it is nice to have the added protection. If you'll just be casually wearing them the toe strap is not a necessity. I originally bought the toe strap and have moments when I wish it wasn't there.

    • I haven't tried the non toe loop model, but I got used to the toe loop easily and it is very comfortable. Great sandal.

From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
