These sandals are so incredibly comfortable. I have always gone for a more cushy sandal that lacks support and only lasts one season. These are not comfortable in a cushy way; they are comfortable because they have the support that I need to wear a pair of shoes all day. I can also tell that they ar... Read More

  • “hi
The weight on these sandals that you describe doesn't fit with the chaco website which has them at about a pound.

Unless these are vibram soles (can you check?) I don't think this is right”
Asked by annette from nc on 5/3/2017 8:19:58 AM
    • According to Chaco the information is correct for the women's sandals. 10.6 oz per sandal; 21.2 oz (1 lb. 5.2 oz.) per pair.

    • I have women's size 9 ... they weight 1lb 7 oz

  • “I have a pair of 9W chacos that I love. With this being a medium without option of half sizes should I go up to a 10M? With this not having the toe piece I'm worried that a 10 will be too big. Should I go with 9M and just loosen straps? Your thoughts? ”
Asked by Chacofan from NC on 4/23/2017 10:00:55 AM
    • I would go with the 9 and adjust straps

    • I have no personal experience with trying on wide vs medium Chacos. I would suggest calling Chacos and asking about the specs. I would agree with you that the 10 would be too long and you would trip!

    • We do only have this in M width, according to our fit team this item is running true to size. If you were to order the 10, it will probably be too long.

  • “I have two hip replacements & a 120 lb malamute I walk 7-8 miles a day. Have been trying to find sandals that will work since hiking boots just get to hot. Have tried many different brands with no luck. Thanx's”
Asked by Zolo from Colorado on 4/17/2017 5:01:58 PM
    • I wear my Chaco's hiking and on the beach. When we went to Ecuador I wore the style with the big toe cross-over for some extra support. As long as you do not need toe protection or the ankle support from boots, I would recommend Chaco sandals. In the cool Florida winters I do add a pair of socks to the look which would give you some protection if you need it. Definitely cooler than wearing hiking boots.

    • Thanks. I think I'm going to try the ones with toe strap. Not familiar with it does it rub?

    • These sandals should be perfect for you. I have found that all chaco sandals and shoes are the only shoes that helped me over the last four years. I have feet and knee issues and since wearing these sandals the pain has greatly diminished. Good Luck

About Chaco

There's a good reason why Chaco shoes have maintained a devoted following of adventurous souls (proudly known as Chaconians) for more than 25 years. From the incredible, arch-supporting footbed to the totally unique strap configuration, Chaco sandals fit like a glove and provide amazing support. Originally created by Mark Paigen in 1989, Chaco sandals have since evolved from a single pair of “Ultimate Sport Sandals” into an array of adventure-ready footwear products, including Chaco boots, sneakers and even clogs. Plus, to reduce waste and help loyal Chaconians get more miles out of their favorite kicks, this brand has even introduced the ReChaco Project, which allows customers to send in their worn or damaged sandals to be repaired.
