Classic American work boot.

I have worn RedWing since I was a child. (I am 67 now and my feet are in great shape) I worked 30 years in a GM plant in RedWing boots. These are as good or better than any boot made in the USA or any where else. A real steal at this price! I find Chippewa American made boots to be of the highest ... Read More

  • “Has anyone ever gotten these in tan from STP (I'm wondering if they ever get them in tan or if they just get them in black or burgundy)?”
Asked by Huda from New York on 12/1/2017 7:30:29 AM
    • We do not carry these in tan. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

    • They had tan but it sold out in minutes.
Answered on 12/1/2017 10:15:04 AM by Amora765 from CA
    • Yes. These were sold in Tan, Burgundy, and Black.

Tan and Burgundy sold out quickly. Then Black sold out later.

  • “Do they fit as true size ? Or should buy a 1/2 size lower?”
Asked by Kuerno from Spain on 10/13/2017 3:21:38 PM
    • They run a little large. Dropping down a half size is probably a good idea.
Answered on 10/13/2017 6:38:55 PM by RJ from OH
    • I ordered my true size, 10.5, and they feel a little loose if I run in them.
Answered on 10/27/2017 2:53:23 PM by David from Colorado
    • This all depends on your personal foot size, your preferences, etc.

I have read MANY people recommend going 1/2-1 size lower, but personally, I found 1/2 to be slightly too small. I would go TTS. I am just slightly over a D in width, and find TTS the best fit.

  • “how waterproof are these?”
Asked by sparry from new york on 10/13/2017 2:20:08 PM
    • These have some water resistance, but are not listed as waterproof.
Answered on 10/13/2017 2:38:37 PM by Product Specialist from Sierra Trading Post
    • These do not have a waterproof bootie, no Goretex. They are only as waterproof as the leather itself.

  • “Curious as to whether these are factory 2nds”
Asked by Mike121 from TX on 10/11/2017 8:21:42 PM
    • No, this product is a closeout.
Answered on 10/12/2017 9:07:55 AM by Product Specialist from Sierra Trading Post
    • Just got mine; they are first quality all the way. 2nds are always marked in some way, these aren't.

More than a century ago Chippewa Boots had only one goal in mind – to produce the toughest, most durable logging boot in the camp. Using only the finest materials and craftsmanship, Chippewa Boots became the boot of choice for loggers from the Pacific Northwest to the piney swamps of the South. Today Chippewa Boots have added technically advanced features such as Body Cushion® insoles to protect feet from shocks… Thinsulate® insulation for lightweight warmth… and Vibram® soles for superior traction on any wet surface or rugged trail. Chippewa Boots offer steel-toe protection for construction sites, rugged good looks for bikers, even snake-resistant boots for hunting the plains. Chippewa Boots are as rugged as the land they walk.
