Wherefore art thou, Romeo?Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Outlawyer from SWVA on Wednesday, August 15, 2018Of all the Romeo style shoes out there, these are the finest. Horween leather from Chicago, Vibram soles. That incomparable Chippewa construction! They are what all the Alaskan bush pilots wear and are always appropriate with jeans, carhartts or khakis. THESE ARE E width. SO, if your foot is a D , don't waste your time. But for all you wide-footed wonders out there, these are the ONES.
Hard to find my size in stockVerified Buyer Reviewed by csyodell85 from Iowa on Sunday, July 8, 2018Like them so far only had them a few weeks hopefully they last a long time it’s very hard to find the right size in stock so if you do buy them
Great productVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tony C from New Jersey on Wednesday, May 23, 2018Very good quality, comfortable. The sizes run a little big though, otherwise an excellent buy.
Beautifully craftedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Joe M from Albany NY on Saturday, May 19, 2018Pictures do not do these shoes justice. The Horween leather is thick and very supple. Comfortable right out of the box. They look great with khakis and jeans. You can’t go wrong with ???? Made Chippewa shoes/boots

Chippewa romeoVerified Buyer Reviewed by josh from Oregon coast on Thursday, April 12, 2018Great product, great price. The sizing runs about a half size larger than other brands I wear a 10 1/2 in georgia, work wear, and loggers wear Romeo's these I wear a 10.
A good find, well worth the cost.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Musketgmatt from Alaska on Thursday, April 12, 2018These shoes are the closest I have come to getting a true pair of Romeos. There are imitators on the market, but these look like the real thing.
The quality is unsurpassed on the usual consumer market. The Vibram outsoles are probably an improvement over the leather soles I would expect. The size is dead on to my measurement on a Brannock device. They are made in America. I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed should you buy a pair.

Too hard to get on as size W is not really wideVerified Buyer Reviewed by Levi the Logger from Washington on Monday, March 19, 2018Romeos are meant to be worn but I was unable to get them on even with an industrial type shoe horn. The loops on some Romeo models to assist in putting them on are missing. In retrospect, I guess I expected more from the 1967 style. These original Romeo shoes should probably not be labeled “slip-ons.”

I just received my order of the Chippewa Romeo size 11D color Vermont Coffee order # E32010404.
They seem a little large and I would like to try a 1/2 size smaller, but your stock indicates size 10.5 D is not available.
Can you re-check ?”
I'm a customer and can't recheck anything but my closet. But, yes, they are sized a little big. Georgia boot makes a nice one and so does Red Wing.
It looks like we currently have one available, but that is subject to change at any time.
