  • Cheap quality

I have purchased many types of items including many shoes and boots from Sierra and was very disappointed that they would sell these. When I received them and realized that the insoles were only under the heal and arch and not under the toes, I was extremely disappointed in this product. Could not recommend.

My Chippewa chukka boots arrived yesterday, and I think that they're great. My shoe size is 9, but I ordered size 8 after reading other reviews. Happy I did They are comfortable with.plenty of room to wear a mid weight sock. The boots have sturdy leather laces, but they lack grommets, just punched holes~ a quibble.

These are very well made boots. They run large, about a half size in length and a full width wide. The !!.5 D is more like a 12E at least, maybe EE. I added an insole and they are still large. Great to wear around the house with thick wool socks but I would not want to walk very far in them. The heel fit is very loose.
  • Nice boot, sized wrong

Love this boot, but I wish they knew how to size them. I followed other reviewers suggestions and ordered down from my normal 12.5 (usually have to get 13, because nobody makes 12.5) to a 12. It's still too big both in length and volume. My advice is order down one full size. Sadly they don't have a 11.5, so I'm out of luck. Honestly, how hard is it to correctly size footwear?
