Shoe ok - store not so muchVerified Buyer Reviewed by Tony V from Wisconsin on Thursday, April 19, 2018Very nicely made shoe, but I can't say the same for the Sierra Trading Post. I ordered a size 10.5 and I was invoiced for a size 10.5, but I was shipped a size 9. Needless to say, they were a little tight but I was able to give them away to someone rather than deal with the return costs and hassle. They were a good shoe at a very good sale price, so I was able to turn a disappointment into a nice gift. Mistakes are made Sierra, but let's not let that happen again - your prices a great but your order-filling dept. needs work.
Seconds, undisclosedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy customer from Bermuda on Sunday, April 1, 2018These were clearly seconds. Fortunately a shoe maker was able to hammer out the upper edge to make them wearable.
As firsts they'd be a great product. The right shoe fits fabulously.
nice shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Justin from taiwan on Friday, March 16, 2018the price is good, and the size is almost the same as redwing
Great support, almost a dress shoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by The Outlawyer from SWVA on Wednesday, February 14, 2018These are wonderfully made of a chocolate suede leather that turns water well and is easy, for a work shoe, to break in. They have the finest soles and heels and don't really weigh much. They could really be worn with khakis or jeans and a sport coat. Great ankle support and heel control. Order whatever smaller street shoe size you wear. Sneaker size will be too big, unless you wear them with your toe all the way to the end. But This is a premium product. If the shoe fits, Buy It! These and their brogan style brothers, exceed all the other work shoes in the catalog.

Quality ShoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jiminski from California on Wednesday, January 24, 2018The craftsmanship is first rate. The sturdy nature of the materials in the production gives new meaning to the old adage of "breaking in a new pair of shoes". However, once past this requirement the shoes are reall OK and auite attractive in appearance.
Well-made Suede ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Elbarto from Arizona on Tuesday, January 23, 2018This is a well-made traditional shoe and should last for years, reminds me of the kind of shoes everyone wore 40 or 50 years ago. The suede looks nice, too. In saying that it's a traditional shoe, I mean that it's heavy and needs some breaking in; it won't feel comfortable the first time you put it on like an athletic shoe. Once broken in it's comfortable and fits like a glove, it will also last longer than the athletic shoes everyone wears now and can even be re-soled. It's even made in the USA. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

“I received a pair of these shoes for Christmas. The piece right below the ankle cuts into the outer side of side of my right foot. No so much on the in side of my right foot. The problem is not so bad on my left foot I believe I have the proper length. I tried a thicker sock but as it stands, I cannot where them for very long. Is this all part of the break-?in process? Can something be done beside returning the for a refund?”
