Terrible Quality controlVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rain Ting from Taiwan on Wednesday, January 31, 2018I bought the last pair of shoes, but I think it is a return product.
One shoelace is tied up, the other is not (Another two "new" shoes are not tie up).
And the Tongues are obvious scratches.
This is my fist time to use sierra but maybe the last time.

5 Star Boot w/blemishReviewed by Soccer Dad from Portland on Thursday, November 16, 2017I love these boots! Sturdy, superbly made and very stylish. I ordered a half size down and they fit perfect. I took off one star because one of my boots had a small blemish very predominantly located on the top edge of the toe cap. This should have been sold as a 2nd rather than a close out in my opinion. No retail establishment would ever ask $300 for a boot with this blemish- but I only paid $75 so it turns out to be a steal. I love them so much that I did not return them and they are on my feet now. In a couple months I will have plenty of little nicks to match the factory blemish anyway.

Very good bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kuerno from Spain on Saturday, November 4, 2017Fast break in, nice pebbled leader ( suppose that Horween as pointed in some webs ), fit 0.5 size bigger, my real size is uk9.5, bought us10 and fitd perfect, a bargain for its price.
Runs small for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by Herman from New York on Thursday, November 2, 2017I read online that the toe box on these are small so you don’t need to size down like most Chippewas but I got a 8.5 and it was too big so exchanged for a 8. Overall love the look of the boots. Can’t wait to rock them this winter!
Nice Boot!Verified Buyer Reviewed by TooManyBoots from Iowa on Wednesday, November 1, 2017I have seen the black pebbled leather Homestead boot on other sites for over $300 and listed as being made of Horween leather. These are not Horween leather but they are as nice as other Homestead boots I have in Apache, Tan Renegade and Tan Renegade with Cordovan toe. As always, with Sierra Trading Post factory seconds, I am at a loss to see what makes these boots seconds. I got a very good deal here!
Superb bootVerified Buyer Reviewed by Joe L from San Jose, CA on Sunday, October 29, 2017The combination of Haroween leather and great build quality is tough to beat. Love the pebbled leather and the old style cap toe that pays hommage to the British ammo boot. Thank you hippsters for making this style popular again. Only negative is the back of the speed lace hooks is very sharp and cuts into the leather tongue, I could see wear areas after one wearing. I had my cobbler replace the speed hooks with matching eyelets and problem solve. Great boots.
Good enough for dress bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by CP from Montana on Sunday, October 22, 2017I have had a pair of Chippewa boots in one version or another for at least 20 years; packers, and a few variations of the 6" boot. I prefer them with hard rubber soles like this black pair. They really last! While these have become very popular recently, most are not nice enough to wear with anything, but jeans or khakis. This pebbled black pair, however, since the welt is black as well, is nice enough for a good polish and shine, such that you can wear them even with a suit and get away with it. Love them.
Excellent BootsReviewed by tomcat from Sacramento on Tuesday, October 17, 2017These boots are very comfortable right out of box. Beautiful Horween leather. These boots have narrow last. I m in between 7 and 7.5. Most of my Chippewa boots are size 7. However, size 7 is too snug for me when wear light weight sock. Size 7.5 will be much comfortable and able to accommodate thick winter socks.
