4.0 out of 5 stars. Great towelsReviewed by GrannyNurse from Missouri on Thursday, March 7, 2013Very good towel, unfortunately color does not go with existing bath linens. Have to send back, more of a yellow to me than light gold.

5.0 out of 5 stars. nice qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by NC retiree from western NC on Friday, February 15, 2013So many towels these days are very big and thick and don't dry quickly. This one strikes a nice balance, soft and luxurious and dries me well, but fits on the towel rack and washes/dries reasonably quickly without taking a wash load to do it. I might have to go back to the thin, scratchy ones next summer in the humidity, though.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nicest towel I've ownedReviewed by Moi from Fort Collins CO on Monday, February 11, 2013For me, this towel is the perfect balance of soft and absorbent. Not too thick or heavy, shorter and closely spaced loops. Really nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic Towels!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mr. X from Ohio on Wednesday, February 6, 2013These towels are the nicest towels I have ever owned. I recommended them to a friend looking for towels simply because they were made from Supima cotton. After seeing how nice they were, I had to buy some of these towels for myself too!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Super Soft, but better after washingReviewed by Rebecca from ithaca, NY on Friday, February 1, 2013these have a nice feel, but there was something weird about them when we first got them. They didn't absorb the way we expected. However, this resolved after some washing.

5.0 out of 5 stars. "slick," non-absorbent feel DOES go awayReviewed by GardenGirl from SE Pennsylvania on Thursday, November 29, 2012As other reviewers mentioned, I too was initially skeptical about the non-absorbent feel of the towels when they arrived and after initial washing. However, I have now washed them probably five times and that "slickness" is gone, leaving us with a fluffy and soft towel. I wash in cold water using liquid detergent, 1/2 the recommended amount of borax, and 1/2 the recommended amount of bleach (I do all "white" laundry this way). I do not use fabric softener either in the wash cycle or in sheet form in the dryer. I dry the towels in the dryer on high. I am sorry to see that the Ivory color is now out of stock, as I would have ordered more.
