• The padding in the sole is pretty thick and doubly so because the interior is lined with faux shearling but the insole is flat so there's no extra padding to conform to the arch. There's more support than in your average ballet flat or canvas oxford but they're not made for any serious walking. I have pretty high arches, though so YMMV. Hope that helps!

  • These are better for support than any other slipper I've tried. I generally wear birkenstocks because of my bad feet. These are working fine for me so far. I wouldn't wear them for long walks around the neighborhood, but for home, they provide the support I need. Definitely more house shoe, but a better than a cheaply loafer. Hope that helps.

  • No they do not have heel and arch support. They are comfortable for wearing around the house, going in the car, etc. Not a good shoe for walking( i.e., shopping). they look really cute . Note: they run very big. I could have used a size smaller.
