I leave the highest boot part unlaced; otherwise the boot rubs against my leg. Also, traction on undistrubed snow is good, but after shoveling our driveway, I slide down when I try to walk up the driveway. Good warmth and comfort.

I walk dogs on walking trails for a local shelter. I am hearing this winter will be a bad one, and I needed sturdy, tough, warm boots that would allow me to navigate through the snow with the dogs. I think these will work great (although it may take a few walks to break them in and loosen them up a bit).
