Cut too tight for hiking pants

Reviewed by Mountain Mom from Pennsylvania on Thursday, September 26, 2013
While the material and quality is suitable for lightweight travel pants, the tight fit makes them completely unsuitable for serious hiking or backpacking. In the first place the "cargo" pocket is barely large enough to hold a cell phone. Forget about stashing a map, compass or anything else in there. And the pants fit so tight that they impede movement during a hike, especially if you are hiking in the mountains. The knees are not articulated, which is something you'd want to look for in a good pair of hiking/backpacking pants. And Lord help you if you need to scramble over a large rock. If I hadn't already cut the tags off of these and worn them during a hike, I'd send them back.
