Reviewed by Outdoor Annie from Texas on Wednesday, November 11, 2015These shorts are beautiful (I got the purple), and the quality is surprisingly top notch. Even if I paid full price, I'd be impressed with the quality. However they have zero breathability. As in I held them up to my mouth and couldn't suck enough air through to breathe (which by the way is the best way to test breathability). The "omni shield" layer may block sun and water, but it also blocks air, which is a strange design for a pair of outdoor activity shorts. I'm headed to a humid rain forest and there is no way I would take these. While I can't use them here in Texas or on my travels to the jungle, if you are in a milder, less humid climate, grab them up. They'd be perfect for most of California, or in mountain areas.
Reviewed by Mild Child from San Francisco on Tuesday, October 6, 2015These shorts are well-made, cute & comfortable. I found they run one size large, as I usually wear a medium & it was more like a large, so I'm exchanging it for a small. They are not super-short & cover everything you'd want covered.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by RowdyGirl from Alpine, TX on Wednesday, September 9, 2015These shorts are terrific for waterside, but the waistband is stiff and quite wide. I'm keeping them because the material looks and feels great, but I ripped out the wide, stiff elastic in the waistband and am going with the simple drawstring, which is included.
