Verified Buyer Reviewed by jrh from NC on Friday, July 31, 2015These fit my husband well and looked nice but the fabric is a little heavier than I was hoping for travel.
We did order a size up as recommended and that was great advice since they just do fit with no extra room.
We like the extra security of the zippered side pocket and Velcro on the back pockets. They appear to be well made.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Need2know from North Carolina on Saturday, May 23, 2015Great fit, gives and stretches in all the right places. Light weight and not to warm. Perfect for three season wear.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by JoeMan111 from Denver on Wednesday, March 25, 2015they fit to loose in thigh and ankle. Too long at well. Returned.
Reviewed by Johnny the Hiker from Pennsylvania on Thursday, March 12, 2015I've had lots of Columbia pants and these are the best of all. Super comfortable. Light enough and stretchy for field work but nice enough casual office wear. Buy them!
Reviewed by CATREKER from CALIFORNIA on Wednesday, December 31, 20142nd fav pair after the discontinued Columbia Titanium. They're neck to neck since this one has a bit of stretch to it. It's a little hard to find a pair you love since columbia tends to discontinue items every few years and use a different name. I go to the store/outlet all the time and have never seen this, so thanks to STP, I have a great pair that'll last me 4-5 more years.
My Columbia Titanium pants are sized 30, but theyre a little tight. At 32 or so, they are about the same size as these Cool Creek II pants at size 34. Go up a bit and it'll also allow you to wear a base layer. I wore a pair of thermal and these and I was warm at 0 degrees F. For my top I wore thermals, a long sleeve columbia shirt, a Columbia sweater and a waterproof Mt. Hardware jacket.

yes, it's a dark emerald green -- nice pants, but the color is tough in matching with other than uniform-like outfits.
Yes, the color is green. The photo looks rather grey, but the pants are a green that is close to military fatigues. Great pants, though.
It's kind of between olive green and grayish-green (kinda like park ranger uniform color but a bit more on the gray side)
Yes its a shade of green. Darker than most greens. I like it, but I do prefer a dark charcoal gray. A Gray or khaki color seems to go better with most tops, but the Gravel Cool Creek II has a nice stretch to it.
Sorry, I got 'tusk', which is khaki. I did not get the color 'gravel'.
A dark type green, but not really green
They're definitely greener than in the picture, where they appear to be more grayish.
Greenish gray, more green than grzy but not green green
Sort of. It is like a Khaki with a bit of a green hue. It is a hard one to explain. I suggest a couple of more opinions. It is a nice color and goes well with almost all camping clothing, but it is just hard for me to describe.
The pants waist size is the size of the pants' waist, which should be the same waist as the wearer of the pants -- :)
Waist size refers to the pants. However, the pants should fit your body.
For example, a 32 waist means the waist of the pants is 32 inches around.
You must measure your waist.
This link will show you how to measure your waist.
If your waist is 32 inches, buy 32 inch waist pants. If your waist is 33 inches, but 33 inch waist pants are not available, buy 34 inch waist pants.
It is pant size.
Waist size is pants size made to fit that body size.
“What are these made of? The overview says they are made of cotton, but the specs say nylon and spandex. Thanks!”
