5.0 out of 5 stars. Designed WellReviewed by AdkPapy from Adks on Saturday, October 19, 2019Medium size fits right. Of course, it'll be a little looser with the liner removed.
Very nice design and construction, very adjustable and functional. Use it within its temperature range and it's nearly perfect.
I'd say it's warm enough for temps in the 40s F, or down into the 30s if you're active. Not intended to be a parka for northern winters, despite the "cover all your winter bases" writeup.
Worn in Quebec on a very windy day, with pouring rain, around 50-53F: kept me dry and comfortable, but chill could be felt. Reflective liner probably not as effective on windy days as a heat-retaining down-substitute liner would be. But that would add bulkiness.
Only negative: front zipper is one-way, it should be two-way on this hip-length coat. Wearing it while driving requires completely unzipping the front or pulling the hem up so the front zipper isn't stressed too much. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome!Reviewed by JJ from California on Monday, February 4, 2019Light jacket that is weatherproof. It is fully customizable. It has two layers. Inner layer has heat packets that will keep you warm. Best jacket I’ve owned. Quality Columbia product. Awsome Sierra price. Great value!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very warm, lightweight, pocketsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Johnny Texas from Texas on Monday, December 10, 2018Just the right weight, adjustable cuffs, very warm, good pockets, good length, detachable hood and great for both wet and dry weather. More than just a jacket, just right.

4.0 out of 5 stars. A Bit BulkyVerified Buyer Reviewed by SF Bay Area from Northern Calif on Sunday, October 14, 2018I was looking for a medium weight winter coat to wear at night. I found this to be to bulky for around town use. Seems to be very good quality with good features.
