Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoor girl from seattle on Tuesday, August 11, 2015Love this jacket. It has a very flattering cut which is hard to find in a rain jacket but there is no hood! I really want to keep it but without the hood it is not completely functional in the drizzle. I am still deciding if I should return it or not. I am a size 10 and the L fit me well with room to layer.
Reviewed by Anonymous from Orlando. Fl on Saturday, August 23, 2014I read reviews before purchasing and took a chance. I love this rain jacket. I didn't want heavy and I didn't want a hood so for me it was perfect. I live in Florida and wanted it for motorcycle riding in rain so the hood was inconvenient. Anyway. Love it.
Reviewed by Briggsie from MA on Monday, September 9, 2013This is a well constructed and entirely waterproof shell,[ from what I can tell with a little splash of tap water that danced off completely,] It fits snugly, so looks great....but:
It is heavier than a wind breaker, but not heavy enough for warmth , If you need a REALLY GOOD WIND BREAKER, this is for you.
The medium size wouldnt' really allow room for me to layer much (I am about a size 8 jacket, usually) And without a hood, all that waterproof technology seems to be a bit superfluous. I will return this for something a bit more substantial - if it had a tuck away hood, I would keep it I think, though again, all that waterproof technology ends at your hip, and your lower half would catch the water!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pat the Bargain Shopper from Lancaster, PA on Friday, February 8, 2013I didn't notice that this raincoat didn't have a hood until after I ordered it. I tried to cancel the order but it had already processed so I did receive the raincoat. I just can't imagine having a raincoat without a hood so I returned the item. I am 5'6" and weigh about 165 lbs. The XL fit be better than the L. More room for layering.
