Incredibly Comfortable.. When you find your right size!

So, take it from all of us. If you are a size 34 waist, order the 36 on these pants. If you are a 34 long, order a 36 length (big and tall style). I normally wear 34x34 in jeans, relaxed fit and those are comfortable on me.. just snug enough that I don't need a belt to keep them on. These Columbia Silver Ridge Convertible's would barely pull past my rear end and I'm a fit athletic build (6'2", 185 lbs).

To confirm what you need to do, Order a size up on both leg, and waist! Trust me on this, I think everyone in the reviews ended up returning a pair or two for the exact same reason!

Onto the actual review.. these are a great material, quite light - they are just like the nylon shirts.. they dry out incredibly quickly, and pack down to a small size while retaining a very light weight. They aren't the 'end all do all' type pants, though. If you start pushing through a bunch of underbrush the pants will rip on you if they catch a snag. I would recommend these for a weekend out.. or a well maintained trail... but if you plan on roughing it or grabbing a compass, topography map and shoot for a mountain, you will want to look for some sturdier pants.
