Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ronald from CA on Sunday, April 19, 2015I have a M size columbia jean which fits very well, but the M of this pants is shorter. Short pants in winter means coldness.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by D- Walker from NYC on Wednesday, January 28, 2015Never had lined pants, used legging or whatever usually but these pants were awesome. Just in time for the NYC so called Blizzard (along with Columbia boots purchased from here.)
The price was right. I got into IBEX, ICEBREAKER and MINUS 33 for my wools to replace most of my cotton. But these pants have a special place for those long walks through the boroughs, transit system, through the snow, and rain.
Keep me warm and dry. The fit is not relaxed as I am used to and they have to ride a bit higher to feel right to me. I'm 6'1 and 220 lbs, ( hopefully down to 210lb soon with all this walking ( thanks FITBIT.) They are long enough for me and a size 36 fits well.
The pockets are great, and material is soft and comfortable and the build quality is what you expect from Columbia. I love the brand for it's price and comfort. I am tired of the Underarmour hype ( have a wardrobe I'd toss but for the money spent), I now go to Columbia and Champion for abuse wear. For other qualities and properties I still choose IceBreaker and IBEX for underclothes and tops, but these rock out on the bottom end.
Reviewed by Bee from Utah on Wednesday, March 12, 2014There is a liner inside these pants that would need some getting used to
It said size XL would cover size 40 and that is not correct. These pants were too small
Reviewed by Meditative walker from Boston on Saturday, February 8, 2014These pants have become my favorite winter pants. They keep me warm during all outdoor activity, hiking, clearing snow ( during the recent snowfall, these pants keep me warm for 7 1/2 hours of snow clearing), photographing winter wildlife. or just taking a long walk.
My only quibble is that they hand lower on my waist than i prefer: I wish the pants had a longer rise.
In in all, these are a great find and most useful.
Reviewed by Lynn the mature hiker from South Dakotac on Monday, February 3, 2014Order came timely, BUT pants did not fit, TOO small even though size is what I buy and wear all the time!!!
Now have to send back and will be charged or that too. NOT happy!!!!!!
