Reviewed by CeeCee from Wisconsin on Monday, November 25, 2013I needed rain pants, the snow part wasn't important. But I thought I'd give them a try, they didn't fit me well and they were a bit bulkier than I expected, so had to return.
Reviewed by JBH sock lover from Pennsylvania on Monday, October 7, 2013Although I've not had a chance to use these yet, the fit is good and fully adjustable waist. The straps are removable, which is a great option.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Ski Teacher from Angel Fire NM on Monday, February 18, 2013I am a ski instructor. My ski pants must be comfortable, durable and waterproof; plus they must stay that way in the variable conditions of one day. The breathable, waterproof, reflective material in these pants assures that. They fit snug in the thigh, but with stretchy knees, there is no bind when I bend down to adjust a client's ski/boot. They are longish and must be cuffed when I put on my shoes to leave work, or they drag; but they are fine when I am in ski boots. I am 5.5' tall. The adjustable waist is great. I like these pants ALOT!
Reviewed by Posse Mama from Beautiful Bucks Co., PA on Monday, January 23, 2012I loved another omni heat product from Columbia so I tried the pants. First use was a cold morning, 15F that usually warrants a warm/heavy base layer. I decided to go light weight and the pants did a good job. Today was another mid-atlantic downpour and my base layer was dry during a full 2 hour exposure.
The xl fit this full figure gal and are worth every penny. They worked just as well as my pricier pants from North Face. I am looking for STP to add more of Columbia's omni-heat line.
- Best Uses: Alpine Skiing, Wet chairlifts
- Cons: Zippers not full length
- Pros: 100 Waterproof, Gaiters, Length, Pockets, Shell with added warmth

“I'm only 5'1''. Will these be way too long for me? What is the inseam on the Small?”
“Do the straps come off?
According to the product specs above: •Snap-off adjustable suspenders
“Howdy! I have trouble with Columbia ladies' snow pants because they tend to ride pretty low under my waist (not really made for a 60-year-old body). However, since these have suspenders, does that mean the waist is a bit higher? And that they might sit higher on the waist than the low-slung pants? Thanks!”
These will sit a bit higher.
“I am regularly a medium in Columbia clothing. Would I need a large to fit over regular base layer items like....thermals?”
No you would order your regular size, the garment is sized taking in account that it will be layered under it.
