A little dressier than I wanted for steel toe work shoes, but then again they are oxfords. And they are super comfortable!

  • “Does this shoe have a steel shank on the bottom for nail protection ?”
Asked by Converse Steel Toe Oxford Work Shoes (For Men) from Oregon on 10/24/2013 2:57:25 PM
  • “Though the site states that these shoes run larger than your normal size, I need reassurance prior to ordering. I'm on my second pair of Converse work shoes and never had any problems with my regular size. My only concern is ordering a half-size smaller and they maybe, too small or tight after working in them. I work in a warehouse with a lot of walking etc... Normally, under these conditions, your feet will get hot and swell. Thanks!”

    • According to our fit models these shoes are running 1/2 size large.

About Converse

Converse All Stars are quite possibly the most widely recognized and steadfastly celebrated sneakers in US history, and for good reason. For starters, Converse shoes and boots have been around in one form or another since the company first opened its doors in Malden, Massachusetts in 1908. After a basketball player named Charles H. “Chuck” Taylor became the official ambassador of Converse All Star basketball shoes, the footwear brand would quickly skyrocket into popular culture. Today, the classic Converse Chuck Taylor shoe is one of the best-selling sneakers in the world. When you wear Converse shoes, you’re wearing an original American icon.
