Reviewed by Deb the Mom from Wisconsin on Sunday, December 29, 2013Once again, Sierra has come through with quality, price and satisfaction. I have two boys that are outside up to 13 hour days working in the unpredictable Wisconsin weather. "Amazing Product" They both got these boots for Xmas and havn't stopped raving about the comfort and warmth that their feet experience daily. "Excellent" Value and Quality....... Thank you Sierra, been shopping with you for years and plan to continue the tradition......
Reviewed by flyfish from Vernal, UT on Monday, December 23, 2013I have always been satisfied with Corcoran's. The boot is wide like is mentioned in a few other reviews and you will notice it while driving your car, but I don't mind. It provides a very firm, stable foot print because of it. It is bulky, probably due to the scuba liner which also makes it a warm boot. I actually got down in the stream fishing the other day and the boot was waterproof. This is something I hope is permanent. I bought a pair of Bates that claim waterproof, but that just lasted one weekend of fishing. Nothing like getting wet feet hiking and fishing all day. My only dislike would be a little room in the heel, like with my previous Corcorans, which I seem to wear out the nylon inside the heel, as well as the heel of my socks with daily wear. All in all, I am satisfied with these boots and like them so much I bought a 2nd pair for deployments. Its got a tough sole, wide, firm print and water proof. I am happy.
Reviewed by nmsteve from new mexico on Monday, December 16, 2013I haven't had a chance to do any hard hiking in these but wearing them out in the woods and walking the dogs they appear to be well constructed, the W width is truly wide unlike many other brands. For a high top boot they are fairly light, yet still offer decent support. The laces work well, another plus these days when some boots seem neary impossible to lace up. Only gave them 4 stars because I haven't really had a chance to test their durability.
Reviewed by CaliCleveland from SoCal on Friday, November 8, 2013I bought these at my normal 11.5 size and they fit a half size larger, luckily my roommate needed new boots and they fit him perfectly. Would like to order again next time there is a deal flyer for this boot.
Reviewed by McLichen the Mountains from Tetons on Tuesday, October 15, 2013I was surprised how comfortable these boots were right out of the box. These boots will be excellent for winter construction weather conditions. The only downside is all the laces. Seem very well constructed.
