Yes, they run very short--so disappointed because I love them and the next larger size is no longer available!

I loved the way these shoes - HARDLY SANDALS as described- looked on-line. When the price came down almost two thirds, I bought them for myself. I had already bought them for my daughter-in-law at a higher price as I felt SOMEONE should have them! Some of the reviews were true for me as well. They do have a small toe area - and I have narrow feet. And the sizing is small. I ordered two pair of shoes in size 38; the Naots fit perfectly, and the Cordani are slightly small. Luckily, I wear on the small size of 38s so they will fit with a little toe stretching, whereas a larger size would be too large. The shoe is "stiff"' and I do not anticipate it will loosen up. But that doesn't make it in uncomfortable.
I find them to look very stylish and unusual. The platform sole makes the two inch heel actually only a one inch heel. I am thrilled as I will be able to look taller than my 5'5"' and yet be able to walk all over Europe looking fashionable yet comfortable. Oh, and the sole is man-made rather than leather, so Autumn in Paris won't mean wet feet!

I fell in love with these shoes the moment I saw them listed on STP and immediately ordered them. Fortunately, they fit when they arrived and were as sleek and gorgeous as I though they would be. The fit around the ankle isn't perfect, but it's close enough and I'm keeping them. They are a very soft, scrumptious suede and are very comfortable for my wide-ish foot. (That means if you have a narrow foot, you may not be as happy with them as I am.) Since I'm retired in FL and never get more dressed up than 'casual elegant,' I can wear them with everything I own, from funky to dressy.
