Specially made Cotton Twill Pants - Flat Front (For Men)

I'm not sure I actually received a 36" waist (though they were labled 36; I ordered 2 pair twice and received a somewhat hodge-podge of brands. But, for approx., $10 a piece, they look great. --Biff.

Mine are a very tightly woven, high thread count twill and although there is no fabric tag on the garment I would assume 100% cotton. No visible defects were found and they bear the trademark of a high-end retailer. Most satisfactory for the price.

I did not order the black ones, but I think they ALL are 100% cotton twill....just different manufacturers.

They were all cotton blend- all seemed well made and really couldn't find why they were labeled as 2nds.

I don't know about the ones that are black; we ordered khaki, and they were 100 percent cotton and very nice. I am assuming that all of the colors are the same material, but I don't know that for sure.

These are not listed as wrinkle-resistant.

They are extremely deep. Come to think of it; they are the deepest pants pockets of all that I own. No problem doing any of these things. I promise this is not a factor in your fathers decision to purchase these pants.

I am not sure if all of these pants are the same or if they might be from different manufactures in the different sizes and color (I know mine are different between pleated and plain front). I would say that the pockets on mine are of "average" depth, though, about the same as an average pair of jeans or chinos but I also carry a "man purse" to carry anything that I don't want spilling out of my pockets.

Yes ,I like the size ...I have medium size hands and my hold hand up to the wrist area can fit...

I consider them sufficient, I carry a flip phone, keys, pocket knife, small pencil sharpener, finger nail clippers, ear plugs, LED flashlight and a book of matches and that is just in the right pocket. Occasionally when sitting some coins may fall out (left pocket) but not often. I hope this helps.

Hello Trapezius, Actually these pants run a little tight in the waist and a little long in the length. So, to answer your question; you need to order a 36 In the waist and a 30 in the length. This is the safest measurements for you to order. I order these pants a lot and you will like the style and fit. Happy shopping.

I don't have access to my pants right now but question if it would matter. These pants are labeled as seconds and part of that would appear to be irregular fit. I bought a pair of plan front and one pleated, both have the same "fake" label over the real makers brand and they are different brands so I would not expect to get the same brand pant or fit among different sizes and colors of the plain front (my guess) but for the $10 I paid and cheap shipping rate offered I would say it is worth the risk. My particular pair of pleated pants are perfect and good enough to wear to work while the plain front are barely acceptable and so better for working on my car or painting.

I am not quite sure which pants you're referring to, but the last ones I bought were Merrell brand, and they measure 9 1/2 inches at the bottom of the leg.

When the leg is flattened like the picture the width is 9 1/2 inches.

This is for Trapezius, Majie, and Lee: After reading the answers to your collective questions, I thought my head would explode. To everyone else (although my answer is a couple of years late) this is meant to help in the future: what each of these potential buyers needed to know was the "fit" of the pants. This is a technical term and Im surprised that STC did not include this very important info in the description. Fit refers to HOW the pants are constructed. By the way, this info is in the "pants sizing guide". Are they a "relaxed fit" meaning there is extra fabric in the seat, hip and thigh? Are they a "straight fit" meaning no extra fabric from the seat of the pants to the ankle? The pant leg would measure the same distance across all the way down. This is also sometimes referred to as "classic fit". Now in style is "skinny fit" which means the pants are literally almost skin tight and the "rise" is very very short. Rise (another technical term) is the distance from the crotch to the top of the pants, measured in the front.. Have you seen the teens and 20 somethings wearing pants that are half off their backside and so tight on the leg you wonder how they got them on? That is skinny fit. The reason Trapezius was asking for measurements was he/she was trying to figure out the same thing I wish I knew: are these relaxed fit or straight fit? Unless you are a guy (built straight) or a gal who is very thin or has no hips, you need relaxed fit pants. I hope this helps. And I hope STC will put this info in their descriptions in the future. You can tell that even SOME of the people who work here (based on answers Ive read) are not familiar with these terms. Ive been very happy with the help Ive received but having this info up front would save a lot of disappointment and money spent on return postage. Thanks.
