NOT Photochromic lensesReviewed by Rod Wiggler from WNC on Saturday, March 11, 2017While the description states "Photochromic lenses adjust tint automatically to changing light conditions" - the lenses do not change tint; at least not in the 'brown' color. The frames are a very dark brown almost black.
Despite not being photochromic, the lenses are quite nice. The tint is very slightly on the amber side, enhancing contrast and making colors somewhat more vibrant without appearing unnatural. They are not particularly dark, making them better suited for shady and overcast conditions then direct sun. I noticed no distortion. These are very light weight but don't feel cheap.
I thought the price was too good for Photochromic lenses; turns out I was right. If they weren't advertised as photochromic I'd rate these at least 4 stars. -

They make colors brilliant when overcast conditions are outside and in Up MI that is most of the time. I bought for the winter blinding white conditions and the glasses are perfect. I enjoy not having to remove them indoors just to be able to see. Most glasses are too dark for me and these are a keeper.

The lenses and polarization is great, they are super comfy to wear, look great, and at this price you can buy backup pairs if your kids like to steal your sunglasses as mine do.
