Versatile Pants for Northern Climates

I'm 5'7" and stocky-solid Minnesota build with a minimal surface area to volume body for maximum heat retention (high BIOT number for all you heat transfer people out there). I have size large-waist is ~35" but elastic for stretch. Can be made tighter by utilizing snaps near each buttock on the outside of the waistband by about 1" each. Length is 34"-a little long for my stumpy body but they work. Has pockets in front with zip closure. Has mesh liner. Pants are medium weight. They fit me tight-ish. Very low rise-the zipper length is very short-definately no crotch sag on these. They are fairly stretchy without having that shiny poly feel. Decent at wind blocking. Has a hook style closure in front-it works. I use for winter snowshoeing, ice-skating/hockey, and general lollygagging in the Winter. I run in them as well. I would probably give them 4.5 stars but I'll round up. These are cool pants.
