Reviewed by Alaskan Skijor Chic from Fairbanks, Alaksa on Saturday, December 28, 2013These pants are quite comfortable, I love the suspenders and the loose, non-binding waist. I normally wear medium but I ended up with a large because that is all that was available and it fits over other layers, a medium would have been too small.. They aren't as thick as I was hoping, I wore them at +15F and they were fine but I doubt they will be warm enough for my more normal winter temps around zero or colder. There just aren't pants out there that are warm enough for real Alaskan weather but still light & breathable enough to do a very physically demanding sport like skijoring or cross-country skiing. I decided to keep them because the price was so great but I am still looking for the perfect pants.
Reviewed by Wendy from WA on Tuesday, November 12, 2013Nice fitting and confortable, but I thought they would keep me warmer.
Reviewed by cateb from connecticut on Wednesday, November 6, 2013Wow, these appear to be nice and warm. These have an extra layer to block wind on the front side of the legs, and they have size-zips at the base for pulling them on over bulky shoes/boots, and they come with suspenders, which are not shown. Fit great, can't wait to try them with long underwear for snowshoeing this winter!
Reviewed by Dancefaery from SF Bay Area - California on Friday, October 11, 2013I've been looking for affordable, highly functional pants for X-country skiing this winter. These are warm, super stretchy and comfortable. I'm 5'7" and a curvy 150#. I ordered the size Large, and they are nice and long, and a little big with some room in the belly and crotch area, making them flattering on those of us with curves. So I had my husband try them on since STP was out of the men's version, (we wear about the same size pants), and they fit him similarly. I've since ordered two more pairs of the size Medium to compare the fit on both my husband and myself. For $35 (with the 35% off coupon), these pants can't be beat!

“What is the hip size in inches for size medium and small. I'm between sizes so it's hard to guess.”
