Love it! But haven't fully tested it out yetVerified Buyer Reviewed by apc_traveler from Tennessee on Wednesday, December 27, 2017In love with this jacket. Bought for an upcoming trip to Iceland and Paris in the winter. Used in Tennessee recently on 20 degree days and it is super warm. I usually wear a large or XL depending on the brand, but bought the size 14/XXL in this. It fits like a US women's XL. I love that it hits below my hips and is snug but still roomy enough to wear approx 3 layers underneath (Tank, long sleeve t-shirt, and pullover sweater). Love that it's waterproof - I was looking for something GoreTex since I'd be using it in Iceland and rainy cold Tennessee winters. My only concern is that it picks up lint and dog hair VERY easily! Just keep a lint roller or brush handy if you care about lint getting on it. Otherwise, it's one of the best coats I've ever owned. Definitely will keep this brand in mind in the future.
Good jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anne from Kansas City on Tuesday, December 12, 2017Pros: It's Gore-Tex, has many pockets inside of varying capacities. The jacket long enough but not so long it gets in the way. Cons: An additional zippered pocket in the outside upper body area would be welcome; just the two lower pockets on the outside. As a reviewer noted somewhere, the Agatha-style jacket has zippered pockets that are too noticeable because of the silver zippers; too much silver overall. Use black, Craghoppers. I would add, the way the pocket zippers are sewn in they irritate the skin when you reach in if you don't have gloves/mittens on. The upper portion near the neck has snaps all the way up - good for extreme conditions and a nuisance for everyday wear. I zip up to near my neck, tuck both upper jacket sides in, and my scarf fills the space. When it's really cold, you might wear another layer that cinches at waist to stop air, since the jacket does not have an elastic band, etc. at bottom. Sierra could provide a link to Craghoppers' warmth rating system. The jacket came with a full explanation of it (this jacket is a "5" out of "7" on their scale of warmth, and one can always search the Internet for their Agatha jacket to get the specifics), but why not give it here. My "cons" may seem like a negative rating, but I like the jacket and Sierra's price is better than other sites. Again, it's Gore-Tex, and there is much to like about that.
Warm and dryVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jenny B from Vancouver BC on Wednesday, November 29, 2017Jacket is definitely waterproof and warm, sizing is awkward though. Don’t go by the size guide!! I ended up with a size 6 (I’m 5’7, 130lbs, 32DD) and although the arms and shoulders fit well, the torso is enormous and without any waist cinching there’s a lot of air flow.
Just What I NeededVerified Buyer Reviewed by Zydequeen from N Calif on Saturday, November 18, 2017Warm and well made, good sleeve length, nice fit. Wish the zippers were less prominent, but otherwise great jacket.
Warm and Yes - Actually WindproofVerified Buyer Reviewed by poniesnpearls from Florida on Sunday, November 5, 2017Finally found a jacket that does stop the wind. Tested it while driving a convertible with the top down during a stretch of cooler morning temps (upper 40's/low 50') last week. It performed great and better than other name brands that also claimed windproof! Sleeve gaiters worked to keep wind from traveling up my arms. Will take this jacket with me on upcoming winter trips. So far, I've been happy with all Craghoppers items I've purchased from STP. Only wish is that it had a two-way zipper.
