Do not let the UK sizing scare you away from these. I ordered these in my usual size 4 (UK 8) and they are definitely cut true to size in waist, hip, legs, and inseam as stated. Perfect fit. The color is magnificent for one that likes to mix and match being a mix of grey and taupe with a touch of... Read More

  • “What is the inseam? In the specs description the regular is 31". Is the L option longer? Only gives S & L, not R as length options. Does L stand for long or regular? In want longer than 31".”
Asked by Christy from Washington on 12/4/2016 8:51:30 PM
    • L is long. I have 4 L and inseam is 32.5

  • “Is the sizing you list as available in US or British sizing?”
Asked by jill the biking chick from Washington on 10/30/2016 3:09:05 PM
    • I found the sizing to be US 8 (the equivalent is UK 12). In terms of a size US 8, I would say it is true to size--mostly my range is 6,8,10 depending on brand. The waist is really high rise and the back waistband has elastic in it so you get that square look from behind, with a little bagginess at the top of the rump. Just beware that in that sense they aren't fashionable but might be fine for the hike.

  • “Are these pants stretchy? It makes a difference in what size I will order. Thank you.”
Asked by mmcc from Utah on 3/1/2014 10:10:44 AM
    • The material itself is not a stretchy material, but there is an elastic-back waistband.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
