5.0 out of 5 stars. Like It

So far, I'm pleased with this purchase. The jacket is very light weight but quite warm. I got one size bigger than I probably need, but with that I can comfortably wear a sweatshirt under the jacket. I ordered a size 10 and am 5'3" and about 120#. Since I don't like form-fitting jackets, it works for me (I have bigger upper arms and an 8 might have been too tight). I like that it has a hood and use it for walking the dog instead of a slip-on hooded sweatshirt which is not always convenient. I've worn the jacket in 30 degree weather and have been okay, at least walking from a building to the car. I do wish there had been a less-bright color. The Firecracker color is bright red with an orange tinge to it and a royal blue zipper and lining, but since it is mostly for walking the dog it's okay (maybe not as good for the out of town funeral I had to go to). It packs small although I didn't use the stuff-sack (flat seems better).

Runs slightly small, it is quite warm and very soft. It comes with little stuff sack type bag to pack it into. I was surprised it fit but it did. Keep in mind that when you remove it from the little pouch it will be wrinkled but thats part of the packable part. Great for my golf bag and traveling//
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Really light but warm!

I love this, but I'm going to have to return it. I'm 5-1, 95 pounds and ordered a size 4. I think it's too tight. I can wear it over form fitting shirts, but there's no way I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt comfortably underneath.

LOVE this jacket! Took it to China in the spring and Hungary/Turkey in the winter and was nice and warm the whole trip! Packs up in to a great lumbar support pillow for on the plane, dries quickly, and keeps you warm--what else do you need?! I didn't think I'd be able to find a jacket this useful for such a low price, but I'm so happy I did!!
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Light jacket

I loved that jacket for cool days. It's not bulky and has two essential features: a hood and two large side pockets. Sizing is right. I took one size up to be able to wear two layers underneath.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
