Great buy!

Nicely made, well designed. They do run small, I wear between 34 - 36 waist, but ordered 38 and they fit well. Haven't tried them in the field yet, but I have other Craghopper products and they hold up wear under general mountain abuse, dry quickly, and the insect repellent works well.

  • Tiny waist, tiny hand pockets, miss the zippered hand pockets on some other craghopper pants
Verified Buyer Reviewed by John from South Jersey from South Jersey on Monday, July 23, 2018
I am normally a 38" waist, ordered the 42 and they are pretty comfortable in the waist. Short in the rise so tend to be low riders. Zippered cargo pocket lets everything fall out if you open it while sitting down. They skimped on the hook and loop fasteners, maybe 3/8" wide, have to line it up carefully or does not secure. Do not tumble dry not stated in online description, hang to dry snap open belt loops towards the back.
  • TOO SMALL

I bought one size up and they were still too small. Disappointing. They look like nice pants. If you have any junk in your trunk, it isn't going to fit in these pants.
  • Horrible sizing
Reviewed by Scott from New Hampshire on Wednesday, April 25, 2018
I normally wear 34 waist - 34 inseam and I ordered the 34 Long. I could barely button the pants they were so small (well below a normal 32) and the hemline went almost mid-calf (well below a 32). I can't comment on the quality of the product beyond this because I literally could not put them on. If you order them, upsize at least 3" in every direction.
  • Poor sizing

This brand's sizing is way off. Runs very small. Had to return husband's pants. Ordered same size in another brand and fit fine as usually. I would say the pants run about 2 sizes too small. As do the shirts.
  • Poor Fit
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rick from Texas on Tuesday, April 10, 2018
Waist size was not a true 42 (too small) compared to standard sizes. Also, the waist line rides too low for men’s outdoor pants. Item returned unused.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
