Exactly what I was looking for for a cruise through the Eastern Med and Middle East. As the other reviewer noted, this is a loose-fit style, particularly through the legs, almost like a boot cut style. I'm pear-shaped though, and the fit through the seat is good. I am 5'7" 155 lbs & I could not button/close size 8. Perhaps I'd need to bump-up two sizes.

There is nothing in the description that leads a buyer to understand that these pants are low rise, the kind with the really short zipper. Never saw this kind of pant made that way. They would have been great otherwise, and I thought I was being really careful before ordering, but if you don't enjoy low rise pants, these aren't for you, either.

Exactly what I was looking for for a cruise through the Eastern Med and Middle East. As the other reviewer noted, this is a loose-fit style, particularly through the legs, almost like a boot cut style. I'm pear-shaped though, and the fit through the seat is good. For reference, I got the medium/8, I'm 5'5", 145-150 lbs, and I thought it was pretty true to American sizing (I usually either wear 8 or 10, and due to the review, got the 8).

As far as wear, they are very light and breathable, which is what I needed for a late fall trip to the Middle East.

These seem quality, but fit is baggy. Sadly, had to return. I have other Craghoppers nosilife pants that I love, but these aren't going to work.

About Craghoppers

The story behind Craghoppers jackets and apparel began in 1965 when a group of friends from Yorkshire, England started planning a trip to climb Mt. Everest. At the time, options for dependable, high-performance outerwear were pretty scant. Rather than settling for less than adequate gear, the friends decided to create their own, and the Craghoppers clothing company was born. Half a century later, Craghoppers jackets, pants, shorts and shirts are still helping people bag summits and stay comfortable on their adventures all across the globe. With features that range from lightweight, UV-resistant fabrics to Insect Shield® bug repellency, Craghoppers clothing is designed to get outdoors and go places.
