Verified Buyer Reviewed by John from south jersey from South Jersey on Tuesday, September 26, 2017I am normally a 38 waist but these were too tight. ordered up to 40 and much better. Love the zippered pockets so I do not lose the contents of what I am carrying
Verified Buyer Reviewed by STP Recovering Addict from Tennessee on Monday, August 28, 2017These may become my favorite yard work pants. They fit well & are light weight. I have NOT found a mosquito bite or tick when I wear Insect Shield clothes. Quality of material and construction appear excellent. Only time will tell if they will hold up to wear. My only complaint is they are "too nice" to do yard work in, but I can live with that.
Reviewed by Spinewrencher from Vancouver on Sunday, August 13, 2017These pants have a nice light fabric which is perfect for travel. They actually even can roll into a stuff sac which doubles as a back pocket - that is how light they are. AND, insect shield rocks. On a safari in Africa I wore insect shield clothing and ended up still getting 2 tse-tse fly bites on exposed skin but my guide got over 50, so it obviously works. The waist and leg sizes of these pants are perfect, I bought a 34, and am 5'10" 165lbs, wear 34 most of the time and these fit just fine. EXCEPT For one thing, the rise in the pant is too short so it sucks up into my butt like a thong! I have to return them. I am very athletic and fit, so if these don't fit me how could they fit someone with more spread? Too bad, I have to return them. Can't order the larger size or I will be swimming in the waist. If you have a small butt then buy them for sure - good pant, great deal, and we all love STP, otherwise.......

"R" stands for regular inseam length. "S" stands for short inseam length. For example, from the specification section of the page for these pants, you can see the the 32" waist REGULAR pants have 31" inseam. The "S" would be 1-2" shorter.
