This knife is the prefect size. Handle is large and easy to grip. Blade is super sharp out of the package and the craftsmanship is second to none. This knife is gorgeous. I haven't been able to really field test it yet as deer season isn't for another 9 months but I have a feeling this will be the only knife I will ever want to carry in my pack. Wish I had ordered 2

I have carried this knife on several day hunts and wanted to post an update. First off the knife is beautiful. The person writing the knife's sheath did not hold up may have a valid point. After carrying my knife in the sheath I find the leather scuffs easily and the tanning is superficial. The stitching is holding up for me. So as long as the buyer is aware the sheath may not securely or safely retain the knife they are getting a great deal. The knife itself is light and may seem small to some. I have hands that go into the extra large glove size band I find the knife easy to manipulate. With its sharp blade it is more than adequate for any deer you may field dress. I still give the knife a five star rating but the quality of the sheath is substandard. It is a sheath that is less than satisfactory, but looks very nice but with every day field wear it wears out quickly. Great knife, but the sheath is inferior to it.

Overall the knife is well made and fits well in the hand. Great small knife option for hunting. The sheath didn't match the quality of the knife. Right out of the box, the stitching welt near the mouth was separating.

I got this knife for my son for Christmas. I own a lot of knives- too many. This is one of if not the nicest knives that I have purchased. The perfect knife for any hunting need. The quality is awesome. I sure hope my son likes this one.

I love this knife. It's as beautiful in hand as it is in the pictures. It has a nice edge which seems as if it will hold shapness through much heavy use. The sheath is well made and almost as good looking as the knife itself. I would recommend this to anybody in the market for a good bone handle knife.

This knife is very well made. The blade itself is sharp. The stag handle is perfectly fitted to the steel. The design of the blade permits close work in skinning or field dressing. While the handle may be small it lends itself well to the overall design. The sheath is a beautiful made item with a snug fit. The knife rests securely in the sheath. The knife rides securely on the belt and is just he right size to ride on the hip and out of the way. STP price makes this one of the best deals offered in their catalog of knives.
