Verified Buyer Reviewed by Phil the Biker from Maine on Tuesday, September 30, 2014Product looks to be delivered as promised. Great weekend to week long bag. Exactly what I was looking for. A non roller carry on. I wanted a front load as opposed to a back back. Dakine meet my expectations. Oh and the price was very reasonable, the order and delivery process from Sierra could not be simplier.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MitchR from Northern California on Saturday, September 13, 2014This bag is very impressive for the amount of packing space while still being a very compact package. The interior is very well thought out with spaces for just about any packing need available,
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bill from Indiana on Tuesday, August 19, 2014Just got this In-Flight Duffle a couple weeks ago and I am thrilled with the quality and features. I ordered the 600d polyester version and it's really nice and heavy duty (doesn't tend to collapse when empty). The split bag design is really nice for packing, and at 55L it holds a ton for a carry-on. The straps are adequate for travel as I don't plan on using this for backpacking (I have plenty of backpacks for that). I own an Osprey Porter 46L and I like this one just as well if not better. The Osprey is almost indestructible so we'll see how this one holds up. This bag has more pockets and features and is definitely more user-friendly to pack up. I highly recommend this Dakine bag.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Krista from Portland on Sunday, August 17, 2014I travel to Europe for work and have discovered that roller-style luggage just doesn't work on the rough, uneven sidewalks there. I wanted a carry-on bag that wasn't just a backpack, but a real piece of luggage that I could use for years. When I opened the box and saw this Davine backpack, I knew I had hit the jackpot! This backpack is styled like an old-fashioned piece of luggage that "clamshell" opens and lays flat to reveal two large, separate packing sections. I was able to load all my clothes for two weeks, including toiletries and two pairs of shoes and had plenty of room. Then, I discovered the stowaway backpack straps, which hide in an exterior pocket and keep the backpack very trim and smooth so it won't get caught when putting it in the carryon luggage bin on the airplane (with the straps stowed, it is very easy to carry this as a duffel bag). In addition, there is a zip-away water bottle pocket and a regular laptop sleeve-style backpack on the front of the pack. I am a garment designer and I was very impressed with the overall design of this product--everything is very well laid out and there are enough pockets to keep things tidy and organized. I ended up buying one for each of my family members and am recommending them to friends!
