I am 5'6 and 125 lbs and I got the Black Medium. It fits perfect and a little room for a few layers. I love the stretch cuffs so that wind doesn't blow up the sleeve. Verified Buyer Reviewed by erinm from california on Monday, August 15, 2016the other reviewers were correct, this jacket runs big. i am 5'4", 107 lbs, normally wear a small in clothing, and the small jacket i ordered is big on me. it fits more like a medium but i chose to keep it anyway because i like the length of the body and the arms and got it for a great clearance price. the spandex, thumbhole cuffs and the detachable hood will be great to keep out wind/cold/snow.
Reviewed by the traveler from USA on Friday, June 3, 2016My first surprise out of the package was that this coat is not black. I purchased the black with green accents and it is more of a grey/charcoal with pale green accents. I prefer strong colors but my husband says this actually looks better on me because the "black" isn't a stark black. I am 5' 5", 118 pounds and got the small. it feels a bit big but that will give me easy layering potential. I felt it looked a bit boxy (probably because it is a tad too big for me) but my husband says it is a feminine fit. And he likes it so odds are I am keeping it but I think i would prefer an extra small. Not sure how warm it is as it is currently 90 degrees out.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by KJ from Washington on Thursday, February 4, 2016Loved the length, shape and features. Purchased S (smallest available size) for my 5'3"/95# daughter, but instead fit me (5'4"/140#). I ultimately returned because I didn't want a black coat myself.
Reviewed by Jules from St louis, Mo on Saturday, December 26, 2015This coat is obviously well made, and I really wanted to love it. It was well insulated with so many functions I was looking forward to. The small was really big on me, just a bit overwhelming. Also, in order to get the cuffs to fit around my wrists, I had to adjust it to the max smallness, which led to the rigid velcro adjuster to stick out a few inches from my wrist awkwardly. I'm reluctantly sending this one back.
