Need to replace snaps

The size XL fits a women's size 18/20 very well. These get a four star rating because the cut is great and the length of the shorts is really good. I love the ankle cinch straps, for sealing out weeds, burrs, and mosquitoes. That said, the hardware is kind of pathetic. I lost a snap off the back pocket within 30 seconds of trying them on. The waist snap is also constantly popping open. However, if you're outdoorsy like me, you're perfectly capable of prying off the cheap plastic snaps with a screwdriver and replacing them with some heavy-duty snaps from the sewing store. The belt is just a thin piece of nylon webbing, but it's OK as a spare gear-strap. Overall, these are good lightweight pants for summer hiking. Plus, the cargo pockets are big enough to hold a field guide for bird identification or whatnot.
