I really wanted to like these, but...

I'd been looking for a good, convertible hiking pant at a good price. I found these, ordered them, awaited STPs typical quick shipping time, inspected them, and then put them on. Then I got a little bummed. Turns out the inseam is way too tight, giving me a wedgey just walking around my apartment. I would hate to see what would happen on a bushwhack. Seems to me they would get generous on the inseam for the sake of hiking.

The convertible zippers seem a little too conspicuous: I could see getting some irritation after a while.

Finally, they are a few inches long, and I'm usually not hard to fit: 5'8", 160#.

On a positive note, they have plenty of mesh pockets and cargo pockets. And they seem to be well made. Guess I'll never know for sure - they're going back.
