Materials little rough but good zipoffs

I have a pair of Columbia and Boy Scout zipoffs like these and I love both pairs. I picked up a pair of these grizzlies with a coupon and figured couldn't pass them up. The material is significantly rougher in textures and the stitching is also courser. The inside of the pockets had threads floating out from the cut interior fabric edges the first time I washed it. Swimming in them is not possible as the pockets turn into giant water pocket parachutes. That said the zippers seem fine and the pockets are very roomy. If you can get them at a bargain they're fine for a outdoor use.
