5.0 out of 5 stars. Great deal!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mommaw5 from Ohio on Wednesday, May 29, 2019A 2-fer! Long pants and shorts. The material is lightweight. Sadly I had to return due to sizing. I think this brand tends to run a little small.

4.0 out of 5 stars. does the jobVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Illinois on Sunday, April 7, 2019We'll see how these stand up to a raft trip down a raging river. They are extremely thin and lightweight

3.0 out of 5 stars. Could do the job - if you don't expect muchVerified Buyer Reviewed by First Online shoe purchase from Texas on Saturday, February 16, 2019First off, I sincerely doubt the material is Supplex nylon. Nylon, yes. Supplex (a registered trademark) - very doubtful. The material is very thin (unlike Supplex). The legs are very baggy/loose compared to the waist. As long pants, this is may help them stay cooler in the heat. As shorts, they're just too baggy and wind can blow them possibly to the point of showing underwear. As shorts, they might be okay in a clean campground or strolling through a piazza, but as hiking shorts, they blow around too much, and can snag on brush and allow bugs and debri up onto legs. The front waist button is a cheap thing and loosely sewn on through only two holes of the four. A light tug on the exposed thread and the button will come off. Seal the threads right away, or just properly resew a good button on. The rear patch pockets look dorky. I might remove them; but they provide a place to keep the lowers when used as shorts. Overall, they are okay for the sale price I paid, but this is not expedition quality by any means. Just to have an extra pair of light duty casual pants and shorts that pack tight, they'll do the job.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great hot weather pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fred from Indiana on Friday, May 18, 2018These Grizzly Nylon pants are somewhere between 3 and 4 stars, although I gave them 4 because they were really inexpensive on clearance. Yes, they are baggy, which makes them really comfortable. I like the super lightweight nylon fabric. It dries rapidly and is quite cool in the summer heat. The zip off legs are practical. The colors are decent.
On the negative side, I prefer buttons to the velcro closures on pockets. The two zippered pockets are too small. The xl will be too small for a guy with a 40 waist. I'm a 38 and they fit perfectly. -

2.0 out of 5 stars. Droopy when dry, See-through when wetVerified Buyer Reviewed by KittyMom from Chesapeake Beach, MD on Saturday, April 28, 2018I've bought Dakota Grizzly products in the past, but these had to have been the strangest material choice. The fabric is thin, drapey & droopy. It has no shape or body. Plus, it's sheer enough that if it gets wet (precip, fording, sweat) it looks & clings like plastic wrap. Definitely not sturdy hiking material.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Bad FitVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Michigan on Wednesday, April 18, 2018These hiking pants are disproportioned. The waist was 34 as ordered but the hips measured 48 inches which is huge. The quality appeared to be good but the fit was terrible.

5.0 out of 5 stars. So light and comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Montana on Monday, March 26, 2018These pants were amazing. I was worried they would be noisy like windpants, but they weren’t. They also wash up to be softer than when you receive them. My son was so comfortable in these.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Nice for a Potato sackVerified Buyer Reviewed by elmer fudd from Compton on Monday, March 26, 2018Length and waist were fine, but unless you're a rapper named Lil'Hiker i would not recommend these. They are baggy and saggy.
