I ordered this gorgeous sweater in black/cream in my normal size. Heads turn and compliments pour in every time I wear it. The fit is true to size but keep in mind the style is fitted so if you prefer a loose fit order up one size. The sweater is thick (but not bulky) so I just wear a cotton turtleneck underneath so the fitted style is fine. It came with an extra clasp if a replacement is ever needed. I will purchase this sweater again in another color if it becomes available.

Didn't need; shouldn't buy. But I did. Dale is awesome; the 'best' brand in Norway they say. Bot a few in Oslo last year at a hefty Norwegian price. At this sale price, albeit high, I just had to buy this Medium which is all they had. Figured it would fit either me or Mom. I tend to be a small in most stuff - I am a 6-8 - but this M is about as tight as I can wear a sweater.

The picture and color description of "Grape" worried me as to whether it would be too purpley. It is not. It is black and white with a muted purple in the trim. The trim is on the cuffs and down the front and raised collar. It is quite stiff giving the piece the jacket feel but it is really a sweater. The clasps are a nice classy pewter style and while they take a second or two to close, they are fine. Can easily be worn open and look great. HAve worn it several times already. Will have this sweater forever! It is solidly made.

This is a beautiful design but, since they are making the sweaters in China, the sizing is very different from the older sweaters. I bought many Dale sweaters when I lived and traveled in Europe and I bought quite a few from Sierra Trading. It's been a few years, however, and I'm disappointed to see that, while my usual size was Large when the sweaters were made in Norway, the China size XL is a little snug. I'm still wearing all the sweaters made in Norway, so it isn't me expanding!

I am glad I ordered a large. I am 5'6", small busted, but chest measures 38", this sweater just makes it. I needed to add more business casual attire to my closet and this sweater is perfect. Very classy and timeless and the detail shows the quality. It is an excellent investment.
