I have owned and still own many pairs of Danner boots, but was very dissappointed with this model. There is not a good lacing technique to prevent your foot from moving forward when going downhill. After several hikes with my toes being mashed into the toe box, I have decided to use these boots only for yard work. Expensive yard work boots.
