If it says Danner on it then it means it's as good as it gets. These boots are different than the more traditional, all leather Danners, but the quality is the same (I have a pair of those as well). Unlike other Danners though, these boots are extremely light and great for more casual occasions, but still durable as nails. My review is meant to speak to the quality and build of the boot not other things like size and fit. That said, I have an average/normal width foot and these fit just right across the width of my foot even though they are considered 2EE. If you have a wide foot these may be more narrow than you like. Length seems true to size. But, well made shoes/boots will form to feet and such is the case with Danners. So they may seem a little tight at first, but if you can take the time to break them in it's worth it. 5 stars for typical Danner quality. 4 stars for slightly misleading sizing.
