Verified Buyer Reviewed by Fell off the Orient Express from Arizona on Monday, January 23, 2017They may be seconds, but they work just fine. Old fashioned, yes, but still, a skill worth mastering, and once mastered will put
a razor edge on your knife. Not recommended for some of the super hard steels, where only a diamond sharpener will work.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Trout Killer from Kansas City on Thursday, June 30, 2016The whetstone worked very well and sharpened my M9 bayonet very well. Even though it is a "high grit" natural stone it smoothed out the blade damage and nicks. The knife slices paper very well now.
