Verified Buyer Reviewed by yumacool from Arizona on Thursday, October 20, 2016This is a handy sharpening set -- not too big, not too small. Great for throwing into a backpack to keep knives sharp in the backcountry. I really respect a good knife and this helps keep it in tip-top shape. Highly recommended.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chris from Nevada on Thursday, April 16, 2015The title says it all, really. It's an outstanding product for the price that your paying. The whetstone works well with any type of edge and cleans off well. The honing oil doesn't smell or leave any type of residue, as some cheaper oils do. The only real thing to take into consideration when buying this product is that you have to realize that the whetstone is relatively small and compact, as is the honing oil. This is it's own pro as it is a con. While it remains easy to pack up and take with you on the trail; It makes things a bit difficult if your attempting to sharpen larger items such as camp axes and katanas. Other than that, I have thoroughly enjoyed this product and used it to revive some of my old knives that I had retired due to loosing an edge. Great stuff
