The leather is soft and somewhat matter. There is plenty of room in the toe box. The insole is nicely padded so that there is some spring in your step. I like the textured leather used on the heel to contrast with the smooth leather upper. These do look mannish, particularly in larger sizes, but that was the look I was going for. These are the usual high Dansko quality and my usual size 39 (for an 8-8/12 foot) worked well. Would highly recommend.

I generally wear a 38 in Dansko clogs and sandals, and these also fit perfectly. They are obviously narrower than clogs, but don't feel terribly narrow. Now that I have worn them a few times, they have stretched out a little as well. A really nice shoe, and a great deal.

Ordered 40 and it is too big. My foot swims out the heel area. So it looks like I need a 39.5. ugh. Otherwise the shoes are pretty and perfect t but not sized for me...:(

I wear a 9 to 9.5 and a 40 in euro sizes. The 40 in these are perfect in the length and arch support. They are narrow-looking shoes but I have a narrow foot, and after a week am already lacing them all the way together. I will need an insole. But I like them enough that I just ordered another color. I work in a factory and walk a lot there. These are great to stand in, great to walk in - only minor complaint is that they are hard soled in the toes. Since I need an insole anyway, this should fix the issue. But the heel area is very soft with good support. Hence the return customer. A good shoe!

However, I wish I had ordered a different size. I wear a 9 usually, sometimes a 9.5. Have always worn a 40 in euro sizes. But I have a narrow foot. So after reading the reviews I ordered a 39. I’ve been wearing them for a week - the length and width is ok - but my foot keeps hitting the arch support wrong. I should’ve ordered the 40. I will order a 40 at some point. Hopefully this will help someone else! -

Leather is soft and no noise when I walk which is a plus in healthcare. Looks great with casual pants or dress trouser. Hoping they can be re-soled when the bottoms wear down.
