They are that European sizing which doesn't work with my foot. I have a narrow size 7 and these are a bit too large for me. However, I added insoles and socks, and I'll wear them to church with pants cause I don't have anything else.

There was no break in period. My feet were comfortable the first time I worked a full day in them. They are dressy enough to wear with dress pants and look nice with jeans and a sweater. I would buy them again. I generally wear a size 6.5 or 36 and the 36 was a perfect fit.

These shoes are cute, you can dress up/down, the width was just right (I do have bunion) the only problem is that they were too short. My toe was at the tip of the shoe. I ordered a size 39 which is labeled as 8.5/9. I am giving them a 2.5 star for style and they do appear to be comfortable, I would advise to order half size up. Will have to return
