I have foot problems and have been trying to find a shoe that I can wear that won't leave my feet feeling like hamburger by the end of the day. These Dansko XP's do the trick. Due to the extra padded insole and arch support, I can wear them all day and my feet feel fine at the end of the day. It'... Read More

I've always loved danskos but I especially love the new xp line. They have a softer inside sole. I work 10 hour shifts in a hospital on my feet nonstop. They allow me stand up straighter & my back and knees are better when I wear these. I'm usually a size 8 & the 38's fit perfectly.

I usually wear a 38 in Dansko clogs. However, after ordering a similar pair (different color) in 38 that were huge, I found these in a 37 and purchased a pair. In US sizes I wear a 7-7.5; usually a 7 wide. These clogs were fine for length even while wearing medium thickness socks. However, they seem a lot wider around the opening than the other Danskos I own. My foot slips out of the heel more than usual.

As for the color, champagne is more of a gold look. I do think they are a beautiful colorl. Will work with jeans or dressier slacks.

I have one other pair of Danskos that I love, so I thought I'd get a pair of red ones for those "flashy" days. What surprised me was the squishy footbed. There is just a bit of cushion that makes these shoes even better. So comfortable! I will definitely keep buying Danskos, especially at these prices. They are worth every dollar.

great fit, quality, and sizing. I always take a size 39 in dansko's and these were not any different.

  • “What is the correct size I should order for a Womens Size 8?”
Asked by Linda the Mom from Nebraska on 11/16/2014 1:11:10 PM
    • You would order size 38. They will feel loose but they are meant to fit like this. I had foot surgery and was having trouble finding shoes that I was able to wear a nurse told me about these and they are wonderful.
Answered on 11/16/2014 4:42:11 PM by Terri from Ohio
    • Either a 38 or a 39. I wear a size 11, and I ordered a 42. One pair was perfect, the second pair a little loose. Sorry I can't be more precise. It really depends on your foot.

    • Typically I would order a 38 (size 7.5 to 8) if I was a size 8. But I have found these shoes to run large. I have 4 pair of the original stabled Dansko clogs and they fit me all the same. These Pro XP seem to run at least a half size larger.

    • Probably a 38.

  • “will the leather stretch when wearing?”
Asked by Cody Shoe Department from wyoming on 8/17/2014 11:00:33 AM
    • The leather is pretty thick and fairly stiff. I've had a pair of Dansko clogs for about 15 years, they haven't stretched, but the leather is finally getting soft. Awesome shoes.

    • Yes, as with any leather shoe, the sizing will change in width. These are great shoes, but the sizing isn't perfect. As long as you understand the clog fit, you will be okay. In other words, they aren't as secure as lace up shoes.
Answered on 8/17/2014 7:53:12 PM by Happy One from Huntington grown Beach, Ca
    • The clogs will not stretch out enough to make a difference in the sizing.

    • I've been wearing Dansko clogs for a long time and the leather holds the shape very well. Be sure and use the sizing app provided by Sierra, this helped me choose the right fit. I am on my feet all day every day and these are the on;y shoes I wear. Like most shoes they will give just enough during the break in period, but not to the point that you should purchase a smaller size or anything.

About Dansko

That fabulous feeling you get every time you slip into a pair of Dansko shoes is no accident. It’s the very reason why this footwear brand took the market by storm in the late 1980s after its signature style was discovered in a small Danish shop and reproduced (with several upgrades) by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup. Originally dubbed the "perfect barn shoes," that initial pair of Dansko clogs would soon evolve into a full collection, all featuring the signature anatomical footbed, roomy toe box, rocker bottom and heel raised just enough to ease leg and back muscles from morning to night. Now, more than two decades later, wildly popular Dansko shoes are available in more than 3,500 retail venues worldwide.
