  • “Does this pack have access to the main compartment from the front or side of the pack? I am looking for a zipper, but I do not see one.”
Asked by Kari B from Rochester, NY on 3/21/2018 8:35:41 AM
    • I just got mine and it has a front compartment that can be closed off for a sleeping bag. Behind the compartment is a zipper that lets you access the contents of the main compartment. It's got all kinds of cool ways you can expand the pack or compress it if you don't need the room. I love it!

  • “What do they mean by 45 plus 10? Where do the extra 10L come from? I don't see a removeable daypack or waistpack...”
Asked by calculush1 from Arizona on 2/3/2018 1:22:10 PM
    • Extendable lid allows you to expand the collar, adding up to 600 cu. in. (10 liters) of storage space.

  • “I’m pretty thin and narrow. The distance betweem my shoulders end-to-end is about 15 inches and I’m concerned the shoulder straps might be too wide for me. They are probably not adjustable, but if they are, what’s the max and min distance between the straps if they can be pulled in?”
Asked by Joanna from California on 1/19/2018 8:10:46 PM
    • The sternum strap in the front is really the only way to adjust the width of the straps.

  • “Do you plan to have this pack back in stock soon?”
Asked by JK from Oregon on 4/13/2015 11:26:19 AM
    • Due to the nature of the closeout business, we often receive items in limited quantities. Therefore, popular sizes and colors can sell out quickly. Occasionally we are able to reorder a product, but closeout items are typically unable to be reordered. We suggest signing up for the My Updates as the best way to monitor incoming products. You will receive email notifications of our newest stock items.

About Deuter

Deuter backpacks and hydration packs have set the industry standard for quality, durability and innovation since the company was founded in Germany more than 100 years ago. Deuter packs accompanied mountaineers on early Himalayan expeditions, and Deuter backpacks were used on the first successful climb of the north face of the Eiger in 1938. Deuter introduced the first bike-specific hydration pack in 1990. Today, Deuter backpacks and hydration packs are available in a variety of sizes and models, with many offering customizable suspension systems.
