I really appreciate the back, with space between the pack and the body, made for ventilation. -

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great PackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rachel in Phoenix from Phoenix AZ on Wednesday, August 23, 2017I've always been a deuter fan, and this bag does not disappoint. Very good construction! I am petite and the fit is just right, even though there is no adjustment along the back like other packs. The hidden pockets at the back of the top flap and underneath are a great stash area, where no one else could get to it. This is a great traveling pack, along with a carry-on bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great DaypackVerified Buyer Reviewed by Blikker from Jackson, Wyoming on Tuesday, September 9, 2014This quality, light backpack is perfect for carrying what is needed for a day hike: rain gear, a sweater, snacks, first aid kit, map, etc.. It is, however, not as advertised big enough to carry what is needed for extended hiking trips. It sits well on the hips leaving exactly enough space to let the ventilated back panel function as designed. All straps are comfortable and zippers give convenient access to all pouches. One improvement would be a net on one side for a water bottle rather than the zipped pocket. But all in all, I could not be happier with this pack. I did toss the flower.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great backpack, very comfortableReviewed by Lia from Kentucky on Saturday, July 26, 2014I only give it 4 stars because the straps are a bit scratchy on the sides and tend to bother my neck. (I tried on a lot of packs and they all tended to do this if they fit me in other ways) I am ordering some sheepskin seatbelt covers to fix this. The rest of the pack is great. The belt sits perfectly on my hips, to where the straps over my shoulders are not really carrying much of the weight at all. The pockets are roomy and the rain shield is hidden in its own compartment on the bottom. Inside, there is a pocket for a water bladder with a velcro loop that holds it in place. On the back, there is a ventilation system which holds the main part of the pack away from your back. This helps you stay cool, keeps your water bladder from warming up against your back, and keeps things drier. There is no daisy chain, and not a ton of places to hook things on, but it does give it a clean look. I didn't see the green, but the red is a really lovely color of red.
The only sad thing is I bought this at the Sierra Trading Post Outlet store in Cheyenne. One of the girls checking us out took the pretty yellow flower off the pack. I thought it was a decoration owned by the store, but now I see it here on the pack and I am so sad that I did not ask what she was doing and ask to keep it. The flower is on an elastic like a hair thing. Just so you know if you do not want it that it is very easily removed.
