This is a substantial toy, but is not too big for him to race around the house shaking. He is an aggressive chewer and hasn't put a dent in it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is vanilla scented (and supposedly flavored), rather than the typical rubber smell of so many dog toys. My Shiba inu plays with it too! This toy should last a long time!

You can just turn the beds upside down outside, and the hair just falls out. The only criticism is that there is no "grabby" kind of material on the bottom, so the beds move around as the dogs get in and out of them. Dogs love them!
